Specialised Hearing Equipment
Every teacher in our school wears a roger microphone for every teaching session of the day, regardless of whether our deaf and hard of hearing students are in their class.
The teacher's Roger Microphone is connected to a Sound Field Tower, raising the volume of the teacher's voice and reducing interference from background noise.
Another vital part of our classroom networks, the pass-around microphone allows for increased access to whole class discussions.
Each learning space in our school has its own wall pilot, allowing our deaf and hard of hearing students to connect seamlessly to the network in each room.
This is used to connect students' hearing equipment directly to media being shared with the class.
